Nest* was an incredible partner. We found out late that our insurer wanted us to get a new roof with little time to spare. Nest* worked fast to provide a market rate estimate and quickly was able to get the work done all in a day. When we had some issues with skylights they went above and beyond to ensure everything was right. This crew is professional, courteous, responsive and fast and I’d recommend them to anyone.
No one particularly wants to spend a ton of money on putting a new roof on your house. Fortunately, Robert Gay and his crew at Nest* has made the process as seemless and pleasant as possible. We got 5 quotes which were all over the map. Nest* provided a detailed, no pressure explanation of what our house needed and the process that they go through on each roof. We were provided with a nice folder to go through at our leisure, though as soon as we got the quote, we were sold. And they didn't disappoint. They were able to get to our leaking roof quickly and the crew worked incredibly hard. When our ancient roof provided extra challenge for the crew, I got a personal call from Robert explaining what they had run across and how they were handling it. Best of all, it wasn't a complaint because of the hard work, or an excuse to raise the price. It was just good customer service. I would gladly recommend Nest* to anyone that needs roof work. I assume their other work is just as good and I'm sure they will be my first call when we eventually look to our windows and siding.
Five stars all the way. From Robert's initial visit and presentation to the work crew to the follow up from Connor, Nest Exteriors* is exceptional and professional. We never felt pressured, oversold or overpromised. From the estimate to scheduling to day-of, the communication was clear and timely. The crew showed up on time, were professional, worked incredibly hard and completed our project (new gutters, skylight replacement, venting, roof) almost entirely in one day and cleaned up before the sun went down. The end product looks stunning and we are as pleased as we could be. We could not more enthusiastically recommend Nest Exteriors*!
These guys are awesome! I selected Nest Exteriors* after vetting three different contractors to replace an aging asphalt shingle roof with a metal roof. I selected Robert Gay and his team because he listened to what I wanted, researched alternatives, and presented me with a solution that would make me happily part with my hard-earned money. I couldn't be happier with my choice in a roofing team. First, Robert made numerous visits to our home to ensure correct measurements, discuss materials, help with color selection, and explain what challenges the project may encounter and how he and his team would mitigate them. This particular project involved a complete roof replacement, including all plywood and existing skylights. I wanted to preserve the original tongue and groove wood over the carport and he made that happen. Second, Robert is a seriously personable guy and fun to work with, and a master at conflict resolution. My wife and I didn't quite see eye-to-eye on the color scheme: Terra Cotta metal roof with white gutters and trim, but he assured her it would look nice, and she's happy with the roof! (And I avoided a trip to the dog house!!)
Our home was in need of a new roof, and we opted to go with Nest Exteriors* and couldn't be happier. From the very start, Robert (the owner), came out to personally inspect the state of the existing roof and explained exactly what was needed in getting a roof replacement and how the process would work. This wasn't just a matter of replacing shingles; we needed an entirely new roof: new plywood, new gutters and downspouts, a ridge vent, the absolute works. The Nest* team did a fantastic job with the replacement and updates. Everyone was courteous and professional from start to finish, and we've been incredibly satisfied with the result! The roof is great, and the new gutters and downspouts are integrated very nicely with the new intake vents that were installed along with new gutter guards. It's a remarkable improvement to say the least! Furthermore, we had Nest* come back out for an additional repair and inspection. We had some extensive chimney work done and needed to have the chimney reflashed with the roof (we couldn't time it for the chimney work to happen before the roof replacement). We also had a couple of enterprising house sparrows decide that the new gutters would make a great place for a new nest in one corner. Nest* took care of both issues for us, and inspected the rest of the roof each time as well to make sure there were no other issues that needed attention. We've been very happy with Nest* and it's clear that they stand behind their work. We'll certainly use them again and recommend Nest* to others!
From the start to the finish, Nest* was timely, professional, courteous and very generous with their expertise and communication. The initial evaluation was thorough, and the project manager we had, Connor Elliott, kept us apprised about timing, any possible delays, and delivery of materials. We really liked that he not only kept our roofing and siding project going, he also took the weather and his teams into account and made sure everything went smoothly. The roofing crew showed up exactly on time and went to work so quickly that the old roof was off and the new one was going on before lunch. They took the time to cover our plants with tarps and moved objects in the backyard that could have been damaged. At the end of the first day, you would have never known they were there because the cleanup went so well. The siding crew was just as diligent, and Mr. Elliott apprised us of a needed repair once the old siding was off, was thorough in the explanation, and kept the project going. Similar to the roofing crew, the cleanup was so thorough it was if they’d never been there. Finally, the gutter crew also was prompt, diligent and finished quickly. I can’t recommend Nest* enough, and am so pleased with their process.
Matt came out for an estimate, and evaluated and advised us on our roof. Very professional, easy communication, and he was very informative. Took the time to educate us, did not feel like he was selling us at all. He even did some quick patchwork to temporize a leak as part of the evaluation. Greatly exceeded expectations.
Nest* did a very nice job on my roof. They showed up on time, took a lot of pride and care in their work, did an exemplary job, finished on schedule, and left the job site very clean. It was a great crew with a high level of professionalism. I'd recommend them without any hesitation at all!
My wife and I recently hired Nest Exteriors* to replace the shingles on our house and also put a new flat roof on our two car garage. They did a beautiful job and we were very happy with our experience working with Nest*. Robert Gay came to do the estimate and he really took the time to look at our house and garage carefully. He answered all my questions and explained how the work would be done and what options were available. He had a detailed estimate put together within an hour that listed each item and gave prices for all options and upgrades. We were able to schedule the work within a few weeks. Two hard working crews showed up on the scheduled day, one for each roof, and finished almost everything the same day. We have a lot of landscaping with garden beds close to the house and Robert was honest with me about the possibility that, with so much old roofing material coming down, some plants might get damaged. The workers were very careful about our gardens and even built plywood covers over some of the shrubs to protect them. In the end, none of our plants were damaged. The price was very reasonable for the high quality of the work. I recommend Nest* if you need to have a roof repaired or replaced.
Bottom line, you can't go wrong with Nest*. They came highly recommended by my neighbor and I was not disappointed. I'm extremely glad I went with them. Robert is great to work with and will be replacing the gutters on my house as well. The crew for the roof showed up early and went to work straight away. I have another neighbor who works in general contracting as an employee, and he mentioned to me the next day that he observed them performing the job very well. The contract itself was also very clearly written, documented with clear pictures and neatly organized so you'll understand exactly what you're paying for. Additionally the billing/payment process is very convenient. If only all contractors were this straightforward to work with! I'll be recommending Nest* to everyone I know.
We had a great experience with Nest* from start to finish. Matt Millonig began the project with us. He took his time explaining the entire process and answering our many questions and making sound recommendations. All of his suggestions were in line with the research we had done ourselves. We eventually chose to work with Nest* based on the positive feedback that we received from neighbors and their attention to details and commitment to quality work. We also liked that they are a local company. Connor Elliott managed the project and was always available with updates and answers to our questions. Our roof was large, but the work was done in an organized way with excellent clean up. The entire experience was very smooth, quick, and easy. Highly Recommend Nest Exteriors*! I had Nest Exteriors* replace my roof, windows, gutters, siding, gables, and shutters in the summer of 2024, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Nest* is one of the best companies I have ever worked with, regardless of industry! From my first meeting with Robert, the owner, I knew this was a top-notch company. The information and service I received was well above average! Once my project began, Connor, the Production manager, was consistently checking to make sure things were going well. He also checked with me several times post-project to make sure I had everything I needed. Customer service was superb! They coordinated everything for me. Matt and Connor did a great job of coordinating our estimate, choosing colors, and finally putting the roof on our townhouse. They were able to answer all my questions quickly and come back and double check the work and help me get pictures to send to my handyman when I needed to get extra work done, etc. After my roofing was completed, Connor even came back over to make sure the gutters were working correctly when I said there might be a leak in the downspout. Would completely, and without hesitation, recommend them.
Needed a roof repair to fix an issue and make the roof last until a planned renovation. I worked with Matt and Conner, and also spoke to the owner about options to fix the problem. I was presented with three different scenarios for my budget. At no point did they try to sell me a new roof or anything that wasn’t needed. During the actual repair, the work crew showed up early and finished the same day. Conner kept me up to date on the progress and ensured the job was completed correctly. We will be using Nest* for our renovation.
Excellent company to work with. Called and had an appointment time the next day. Was called before the appointment by Matt to verify he was on the way and he arrived promptly. On site Matt was thorough and gave good advice that made sense regarding a small project. Truthfully, the work might be manageable by a competent handy-man but it's a roof. As a first time home owner I felt more comfortable having the work done by a roofer. He explained my options and didn't try to hard pressure me in any way. He took a lot of photos on the roof and gave me good advice on how to keep the roof leak free and happy which I appreciated. None of that involved pressuring me into taking immediate action that day. I genuinely would not have realized that a rubber gasket up there would need eventual replacement, and now I can plan for that repair in the future.
Nest Exteriors* was excellent. I received several estimates from other compaines to assess my roofing project and all of them did not take the time to really try to find the true issues and root causes except Nest*. Matt and Robert spent a lot of time really assessing the issues and my concerns during the estimate process. Conner was able to ensure the work was done up to standards and in a timely manner. Placed a call to Nest Exteriors* due to some water penetration in the home (two separate locations). Matt did a thorough check of the roof and (a) identified the main roof was not the cause of any water penetration, and (b) identified that our bump out simply needed some touch up caulk in that location. In addition, he identified a third location where the shingles were loose and required some maintenance. Matt caulked the bump out and repaired the loose shingles, requesting no payment for his services. Rather, an opportunity to develop a relationship and keep his company in mind for future work. Honest and dependable, difficult to find in today's world. Thank you Matt!

We used Nest Exteriors* previously for a full roof replacement at our old house and had a great experience. So, when a small tree branch broke into several pieces and fell on our current home, they were the first call we made to have someone assess if there was any damage. Matt came out and did an amazing job all around! After performing his assessment, he clearly explained the situation and his recommendation. We were fortunate that only one shingle had a small dent and he offered to caulk it at no charge since he was already there. As he was making the repair, he noticed two areas around some of the exhaust pipes that also needed caulking and took care of them as well. He then removed the branch pieces and placed them all neatly on the ground. To top it all off, he sent a follow-up email that included a photo inspection report, summary of what was done, and things to look out for. Matt was courteous, easy going, and very easy to work with in every interaction. We really appreciate the time and care that we received and recommend Nest Exteriors* without hesitation.

Nest* is an outstanding company. I have worked with them since 2016 for various roof issues from storms. The replaced my roof on my home in 2022 and on my rental in 2023. Robert’s responsiveness is second to none. Their customer service is exceptional. Very refreshing to find value, professionalism, courtesy, quality and superb communication all in place, every step of the way. We interviewed and and received more than several estimates for our new roof and extensive trim work. Nest* easily led the way in value and professionalism at the end of our search. And true to expectations, Robert and his crews were simply outstanding in every regard - top quality, on time, and timely communication. Again, this was a big project for us, and Robert's total professionalism, courtesy, and attention to detail came through every step of the way. Nest Exteriors* did an outstanding job replacing the roof on our townhouse. Robert Gay came out on January 23rd, prepared an estimate and reviewed in detail the work they would do. We had received two quotes and Nest* was the best, After accepting the quote on January 25th, Connor Elliot coordinated the work and scheduled the material delivery for February 1st and the removal of the old roofing and installation of the new roof on February 2nd. On the 1st, ABC Supply delivered our materials directly to the roof utilizing a boom truck. The eave of our roof is approximately 35-ft above the driveway and the peak of the root is about 48-ft above the ground. The crew arrived early, but waited until a few minutes after 7:00 am when Connor had said they would start. They removed the old roofing, constantly cleaning the yard and putting the old material into the truck they had parked in our driveway. They completed the work about 5:00 pm, after they had walked the yard multiple times and used a magnet on wheels to remove all of the old nails that fell to the ground. They also cleaned our neighbors' yards and decks. The next business day, Connor came by to verify that we were satisfied and that the work was done and clean to his satisfaction. We are happy to recommend Nest Exteriors*.
We had storm damage and had several contractors provide info and quotes, Nest* provided the most information and options and did not try and nickle and dime us. Then the did the work on time and very professionally. These are not part time workers or day workers that are not part of the firm. The quality of the work and some adjustments that had to be made on site were outstanding and at no additional charges. Very pleased with the work and have recently called them back to do some more work.
